  Had to wait an hour to get served. Other people waited an hour to get served only to be told their car was on its way from the airport. Luckily mine was available on arrival. It’s hard to tell if the Spencer St branch staff have no training in customer service or if they simply don’t give a toss. Maybe both. Would prefer to give a 0 star rating.

  Friendly staff and very good service during we visited Melbourne last Christmas and New Year holidays break. The car we hired - Toyota Corolla was in good condition as we expected it. Good value. I would recommend you to use Ultimate Protection - $0 Damage Recovery Fee which you pay a little bit extra money but it will give you a peaceful mind whatever has happened. Their simple pickup and drop off system was great and convenient for me. I'll definitely be using Thrifty again.

  I had lovely customer service they gave us a free upgrade to a 2017 merc c200 we paid 402$ for 8 days they had fexaible pick up time and the bond was only 200$ The car had 6/8 fuel when we picked it up and we returned it with 7/8

  They charged me 20$ for unfulfilling fuel but it was 6/8 when I took a car and I returned it with 7/8. Please make sure that you have enough time to solve the further problems after renting the car from them.
